To start our third publication, in pairs we were set the task to create a gif based on two of our uncomfortable images that link together through a word; the word me and Jake came up with was Pain. My image was of a rabbit being animal tested, whilst Jakes image was of two pigs having sex. We started by making a mind map of ideas and words associated with pain;
We decided to go with the idea of pain in terms of S&M and bondage; a humorous approach to create contrast with the actual word, Pain. We created a collaged gif of a rabbit whipping a pig, we also added some extra little sexual touches such as a thong on the pig and knee high leather boots on the rabbit. I really enjoyed this task as it was a quick and fun process, also because I love the art of collage.
