• Cover idea: 3 lines of typography; The english word > Translated to how its pronounced in Urdu > The word in Arabic
• Book opens right to left! All Arabic books are like this, and the book is also read from right to left...The book will work as a normal english book (left to right) whilst at the same time working as a typical Arabic book
• Size of the book?? A language book would be useful in a small travel size so it is easier to carry around for travellers (one of my target audiences)
• Arabic side vs English side...how will the book be read > FLIP the book, Arabic version when flipped upside down, it becomes right to left
• The first page could be the Arabic alphabet with the sound translations below
• Each double page spread has an English page and an Arabic page- each page has a significant word from the body of text enlarged with the Urdu word translation underneath smaller
• Relevant words with more emphasis on the typography used > hello, bye, you, she, he etc
• Do I need a grid?
