Final Posters

I have now finished my posters ready to print on Friday. I am happy with how they have turned out as the photographs are well shot and crisp, the minimal aesthetic helps to get the message across quickly and successfully. The brief tackles quite a sensitive topic so I didn't want to over complicate them with a more wacky, busy overall aesthetic. The hand written text needed quite a lot of playing around with but I am happy with the positioning and sizes of them now. All three posters focus on the concept of making carrying a condom the 'norm' through incorporating a condom in everyday normal activities that people do.

The first poster focuses on the idea of making a cup of tea, the condom has been designed to look like a string tea bag with the tag using a Durex inspired design (the logo and a short sentence about the spread of STIs). The second poster focuses on the things that we don't leave the house without: card, keys, ID, through making the hand written type look like a checklist. The condom was photographed along side these objects, implying that a condom should also be one of the things we don't leave the house without. Additionally, the third poster focuses on the everyday activity of brushing your teeth and not leaving the house without doing so, this has been done through editing imagery of condoms into the bristles of the toothbrush.
